# Enrol students on courses
Enrolment decides what students can see.
### Enrol students on courses (individual & spreadsheet)

### Individual students
In **Students**, on the right of a student's row select **Manage enrolments**.

Search for a course or add a course from the list with **+**

Select **Save.**

### Multiple students
From the dashboard, click **Students** in the main navigation.

Select the **Enrolments** tab and go to the row for the course, in my example **Time2Code: Python Level 2**.

Select **Manage** - this allow you to see students area are enrolled already.

Select **Enrol.**

Select multiple students from the list.

Select **Save.**

### Enrol a 'Group' of students on courses

In **Students**, click **Groups & Sub Groups** and select the group you want to enrol.

Click the edit icon and select **Manage enrolments**. The **Enrol on courses** panel opens, headed with the group you are editing, for example, *Edit enrolment for "10B Computer Science"*.

Find the courses you need. Type into **Search courses** if you know the name, or browse **Course folders** to see what is available, each folder shows how many courses it holds, such as *Time2Code Bundle ยท 10 courses*.

Select every course this class should be able to open. You can select more than one, so a class working through several units is set up in a single pass.

Click **Confirm Enrolment**. The courses are attached to the group and appear for every student in it.

You can also enrol a group on courses and then students can join the group and enrol at the same time. The steps are outlined in the [Add your students to Kita](/getting-started/add-your-students-to-kita.md#setup-before-a-class-session) guide.

### Check that it worked
Go to the course and and select **Student progress** from the overview page.
This will always show the students currently enrolled in the course as a table. You export this table to spreadsheet as needed.

If students still cannot access a course after both checks above, email with your group name and the course you expected them to see.
